Gleason Road Closure Notice

Gleason Road between Schey Drive and Tupa Drive will be closed for utility improvements until approximately Friday, 7/24. The detour route will be Hilary Lane and Valley View Road.


Project Area

  • If you have any power outages or electrical appliance issues at your home, please call Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-1999.
  • Minor work will occur on Saturday, July 18.
  • Please see the construction phasing map.
  • Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
  • All work dates below are weather permitting.


Phase 1 & 2:

  • General Notes
    • Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction working hours.
    • Check your front door daily for notification of temporary water loss.
    • Driveway Accessibility
      • You will generally have access in and out of your driveway each morning and evening, and potentially throughout the day. Exceptions include periodic excavations in front of your driveway that may last hours. The contractor will knock on your door notifying you of the excavation work and give you time to park your car on the street, so you aren’t blocked in.


Phase 1

  • Upcoming Work
    • Tara Road, Antrim Court, and Antrim Terrace roadway grading in preparation of asphalt paving is scheduled to begin the week of 7/20.
      • The first layer of asphalt paving is tentatively scheduled for the end of the week of 7/20.
    • Lanham Lane and Kemrich Drive roadway and soil corrections is scheduled to begin the week of 7/20.
    • Lee Valley Circle and Weston Circle sod installation will begin when weather permits.


Phase 2:

  • Upcoming Work
    • Fleetwood Drive roadway excavation and soil corrections is scheduled to begin the week of 7/20.
    • Dublin Circle watermain installation is scheduled to begin the week of 7/20.
    • Tralee Drive storm sewer installation is scheduled to begin the week of 7/20.
  • Ongoing Work
    • Fleetwood Drive storm sewer and sump drain installation will continue during the week of 7/20.
    • Dublin Road, Kerry Road, and Wexford Road watermain installation will continue the week of 7/20.
  • Completed Work
    • 70th St and Dublin Circle watermain valve replacement is complete.
