The City is sharing this draft, 30% design sidewalk layout for proposed sidewalks on the streets shown here. This draft is intended to help residents understand how the proposed sidewalk could fit within the existing street footprint. It is not final design. The sidewalk width, street width, and general design parameters are established based on the Living Streets Plan. The only elements that may vary are turf boulevard widths and curb locations, which depend on site conditions.

The City has received a petition expressing opposition to the proposed sidewalk, and we recognize the concerns raised by residents. The City Council will decide whether sidewalks will be included in the project, as referenced in the timeline here.
