Residential Variances

This page is intended to collect public input on Residential Variances that are to be heard by the Planning Commission. Comments submitted will provide feedback to the Planning Commission to be considered. Each page includes the information that was submitted by the applicant. The feedback provided for each project will be given to the Planning Commission for their consideration. The page is open for feedback up until the noon on the Tuesday prior to the Planning Commission public hearing.

    To work towards the goal of fostering an inclusive and engaged community, the Planning Commission will be utilizing Better Together Edina for public input on Residential Variances.

    Residents will continue to receive mailed notices for residential variance projects within 200 feet of their property. Notices that are mailed will ask recipients to provide input on Better Together or attend the Planning Commission public hearing. The Planning Commission will receive the input collected on Better Together and will hear testimony at the public hearing for consideration in their decision.
