August 13, 2026 Update

Work continues building concrete foundations to support the bridge and ramps. Pile driving on the north side of Highway 62 will start during the week of August 17. The onramp to westbound 62 will remain closed until further notice. Construction on the last phase of the France Avenue sidewalk will start early September. The project is along the east side of France Avenue between Highway 62 and 62^nd Street. This project will replace some of the water and sewer service connections in France Avenue. This will require closing France Ave for two weeks. The detour will overlap with the Rosland Park Ped Bridge Project detour. Eastbound traffic on 62^nd Street will detour north on France Ave, east of 60^th Street to Xerxes Avenue.
