June 18, 2026 Update Road Closures Coming

The project is starting soon. The road closures are happening as the contractor starts to mobilize equipment and removes the existing bridge. On Weds, June 24 the westbound onramp to Highway 62 from Valley View Road will be closed for approximately 120 days. The detour is France Avenue. Also, on Weds, June 24, 64^th Street between the north Aquatic Center parking lot and pickleball / tennis courts in Rosland Park will close to create a construction stockpile and staging area. On Friday, June 26 at 10 pm until Monday, June 29 at 5 am Highway 62 will be closed in both directions to remove the existing bridge. Please note access to the park for the 4^th of July fireworks will be from Valley View Road. Thanks
