Construction Update - 5/31/2024

Expect short term delays driving on Heritage Drive between Xerxes Avenue and Barrie Road. We recommend using Barrie Road, W. 65th and W. 66th Streets if possible.


Heritage Drive

  • Starting on Monday 6/3, the contractor will start excavating for watermain repairs.
  • The Contractor will finish switching properties to temporary water service on Saturday, 6/1.


CenterPoint Energy

  • CenterPoint Energy’s contractor, Michels, began work on 5/31.
  • CenterPoint Energy estimated Michels work to take 3 weeks
  • This work is not part of the City’s Southdale B Neighborhood Road Reconstruction contract.
