Traffic Update

• Expect short term delays driving on Barrie Road between W 66th Street and Heritage Drive late during the week of 9/30 or during the week of 10/7 due to asphalt paving. Please plan your trips to account for these short-term delays.
• Access to Barrie Road from W 66^th Street and Heritage Drive will be closed during asphalt paving. The daytime closure is anticipated to one day. Barrie Road will be accessible from W 65^th Street during this time.
• Excessive vehicle speeds are prevalent in the project area, so please slow down. We encourage safety for both you AND the construction crew.

Barrie Road

• Driveway apron and concrete sidewalk installation will continue into week of 9/30.
• The first layer of asphalt paving is scheduled to begin late during the week of 9/30 or during the week of 10/7 following driveway apron installation.
  • Delays accessing Barrie Road from properties can be up to 15 minutes due to paving.
  • As soon as the large rollers are done compacting the pavement, vehicles can access Barrie Road.

Heritage Drive

• Tree replacement planting is scheduled to begin week of 9/30.
• Although the first layer of asphalt is complete, no parking remains in effect on Heritage Drive.

W. 65th Street

• Xcel Energy’s relocation of their facilities has been delayed. Sorry for the delay.
• While the street is gravel, it is open to vehicular traffic. Please drive slowly.
