Metro Transit Bus Detour

Metro Transit has announced all bus stops within the project area will be closed during the road construction project. Here is the rider alert they have issued for Route 578:

For northbound Route 578 get on/off buses at:
Southdale Transit Center & Gate C - Stop #53705
Temporary stop on Southdale Mall service road & 66th St (northbound)
Xerxes Ave S & 64th St W - Stop #6138 (northbound)
Xerxes Ave S & Hwy 62 - Stop #6140 (northbound)

For southbound Route 578 get on/off buses at:
Hwy 62 Exit & Xerxes Ave S - Stop #4949 (westbound)
Xerxes Ave S & 64th St W - Stop #6073 (southbound)
Temporary stop on 66th St between York/Xerxes Ave and Barrie Rd (westbound)
Southdale Transit Center & Gate C - Stop #53705

Northbound buses will travel regular route departing Southdale Mall to 66th St, right on 66th St, left on York Ave which becomes Xerxes Ave to Heritage Dr, and resume regular route.

Southbound buses will travel regular route on Xerxes Ave to Heritage Dr, continue on Xerxes which becomes York Ave to 66th St, right on 66th St, left into Southdale Mall, and resume regular route.
