Road Closure beginning April 23: Vernon Avenue and 50^th Street between Interlachen Blvd and Grange Road with the exception of the on- and off-ramps to Highway 100 will close on April 23. The Grandview Businesses and the 50^th & France Business District are open and accessible during the project. Signs for the detours will be placed Monday and Tuesday, April 21 & 22. Eden Avenue will be the main east-west street. Construction will slowly ramp up over the course of the first few weeks. Equipment will be delivered and concrete jackhammering will begin late next week. The contractor will be using the city's parcel at 5146 Eden Avenue for equipment, materials, and employee parking.
