August 7, 2025 Update

A large portion of the intersection of Interlachen Blvd and Vernon Avenue is substantially complete. The intersection is open to traffic, but traffic will be shifted west in the next week or so. Be patient in this intersection.

The northbound Highway 100 on-ramp is closed until late fall. One detour will be southbound Highway 100 from Eden Avenue to eastbound Highway 62 to northbound Highway 100. The local detour will utilize the frontage roads and the northbound Highway 100 on-ramp at Benton Avenue. This has caused traffic delays at Benton Avenue.

Please be aware students go back to school on August 25. This will increase traffic during drop-off and pick-up times in the Grandview Area extending along the Highway 100 frontage roads to Benton Avenue. Take extra time and be patient. It will be congested.

The developer at 5100 Eden Avenue is starting work soon. Starting the week of August 18, they will begin installing a temporary sidewalk along the west side of Arcadia Ave from Eden Ave to the crosswalk at Vernon Shops. This will support a sidewalk detour. Jersey barriers and fencing will also be installed around the property.
