W 50th & Grange Rd Closed Through August 24

Temporary road closures near Edina City Hall for watermain work related to the Vernon Avenue & Highway 100 Interchange project have been extended through Sunday, Aug. 24. Extra time is needed to finish installing the new watermain pipe under Highway 100. Grange Road WILL reopen before Monday, Aug. 25.


Roads closed:

  • West 50th Street between the Highway 100 ramps and Eden Avenue
  • Grange Road north of the Highway 100 northbound off-ramp


Detour: Eden Avenue will serve as the detour route. Drivers exiting Highway 100 northbound at Grange Road can turn right onto Eden Avenue to follow the detour.


Access changes:

  • The north entrance to City Hall will be closed. Please use the Eden Avenue or Grange Road entrances to access City Hall.
  • Local access to Dale Drive will be maintained.
