July 21 City Council Decision

Last night, City Council approved an alternative roadway configuration for Wooddale Avenue. Referred to as Option 4, it mostly maintains the existing configuration. On-street parking will continue to be allowed on the east side between Wooddale Lane and W 61st Street. Option 4 includes the following changes to the existing configuration:

  • Between Wooddale Ln and W 56th St, the existing southbound bike lane will be widen to 6.5'.
  • Between Wooddale Ln and W 56th St, the southbound travel lane will be narrowed to 10'.
  • Between W 61st St and Valley View Rd, the travel lanes will be narrowed to 10' in each direction.
  • Between W 61st St and Valley View Rd, 5.5' bike lanes will be added in each direction.
