As part of the City's Proactive Pavement Management Program, a bituminous overlay is scheduled for Wooddale Avenue between Wooddale Lane and Valley View Road in 2026. The street currently has a combination of shared and dedicated bike lanes, as well as on-street parking on the east side. In the past 10 years, 19 crashes have been reported along this corridor.
Existing section: Wooddale Ave, Wooddale Ln to to W 56th St
The City is considering alternative roadway configurations to improve safety, support multi-modal transportation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This project supports the implementation of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, Living Streets Plan, Climate Action Plan and Safe & Equitable Mobility Action Plan. The roadway configuration options can be found in the Documents library to the right.

Staff is seeking community feedback on the potential changes for Wooddale Avenue. Maps of existing and proposed cross sections are available in the Documents library on the right. To provide feedback, please complete this survey before Friday, April 24. Staff will include all of the submitted comments in the final report to City Council, which will discuss how public input influenced the final recommendation.
