Trees and Shrubs input

Plug planting is planned for spring 2024. Trees and shrubs may also be planted in spring 2024 based on resident input. Let us know what you think. Please provide your input by September 29th.

  • Which species from the list would you like to see planted? We've identified some native trees and shrubs that would be suited to this site.
    • Trees: swamp white oak, basswood
    • Shrubs: red osier dogwood, common elderberry, nannyberry
  • How many trees and shrubs should be planted?
    • Trees: up to 6
    • Shrubs: up to 30
  • Do you have general input on where they should be planted? We know the trees and shrubs would need to be sited within the lowland forest/woodland (shown in green in the image below). We'll leave the detailed siting to the installers but are open to your general thoughts on placement.
