Construction Update 10/8 (current week, 10/13, 10/20)

Thanks for keeping up to speed with us as the project develops. Keep in mind this information will change as the course of construction and weather affect our work.

Key Update

• SEPERATE PROJECT IS CLOSING NORTHBOUND YORK FOR 2 WEEKS - October 15 - 31
  • Northbound York Avenue (County Road 31) is closed between Hazelton Road and 70th Street. Crews will connect sanitary sewer and water lines for the future Southdale Library. This week

• Placement of new concrete curb and gutter.
• Preparation and pouring of new sidewalk and driveways.

Week of 10/13

• Paving of asphalt driveways and the first layer of the new roadway.
• Placement of topsoil and preparation for seed
• Seeding late week or early the following

Week of 10/20

• Paving of second layer of new roadway
• Preparation for pavement marking
• Signal and push button reestablishment
• Prepare new signs, install the following week
