Construction Update (Current week, 9/22, and 9/29)

Thanks for keeping up to speed with us as the project develops. Keep in mind this information will change as the course of construction and weather affect our work.

Key Update

  • Traffic control change to Phase 2b, which closes eastbound 69th at the east most Galleria entrance is scheduled for Wednesday September 17th. This closure will remain in effect through the remainder of construction, tentatively scheduled to be complete around early November.
  • A <1 day lane closure on northbound York right turn lane, near 69th St, is scheduled for Friday, September 19th (updated Sept. 17).

This week

  • Installation of new sanitary sewer pipe.

Week of 9/22

  • Installation of new sanitary sewer pipe.

Week of 9/22

  • Completion of all underground work is expected early this week.
  • Grading for new roadway and placement of gravel for the new roadway base.
