    Having a home office along York (York Plaza) how much quiet enjoyment will be taken by this project?

    Hi Norwoods Realty, Thanks for reaching out,

    It looks like your home has a front row seat to construction this summer and your balcony may be as close as 70’ to the construction. As far as how much quiet enjoyment you may lose this summer, a few factors come to mind;

    • Work hours: Our work will be 7am to 7pm, and may end earlier depending on the day.
    • Phase of construction: Construction near you will being on June 9, and digging starts by mid-week.  We’ll be north and out of view within the first month or less of work, but will be back to patch up curbs, pave and clean up.  When we’re out front, expect a bit of dust, and construction sounds like engine idle and working, back up beeping, clank and clatter from moving around big pipes and structure, setting and taking up forms, and cleaning up with a sweeper.
    • Age and interests: You may be able to sell box seats to the construction!  We’re particularly popular with the 4-15 age set, and construction fans of all ages.  Just make sure to stay safely back from the construction zone. We’re putting in a big deep pipe that could serve for centuries helping toilets flush and that’s a moment filled with wonder. =)

     Keep checking back, on the updated schedule and reach out if you see anything amiss.
