The Metropolitan Council has a process that enables local communities to apply for federal funds to support transportation projects. The City is applying for two projects within the Grandview District that support the long term vision of creating safer and more inviting multi-modal facilities. The projects under consideration are the TH 100 / Vernon Avenue / 50th Street Diverging Diamond Interchange and the Vernon Avenue Roadway Modernization and Multi-Modal Improvement Project.
