The proposed 2026 reconstruction project includes:

  • Complete reconstruction of the concrete pavement with asphalt pavement,
  • Replacement of concrete curb and gutter,
  • Replacement of a portion of the watermain and water services,
  • Improvements to the sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems, and
  • Potential construction of concrete sidewalk facilities
  • The project is funded by a combination of special assessments, property taxes, respective utility funds and the Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety (PACS) fund.
  • An estimated preliminary assessment range will be prepared later during the summer. Based on the assessment policy, 52.6% of the roadway project costs will be assessed to Prospect Knolls A/C/D property owners, and 47.4% of the roadway project costs will be paid for by property taxes.

    The survey will assist the City’s design of Parklawn Ct that can safely accommodate all users. Please help us identify and evaluate areas where we can make improvements to your neighborhood. 

     

    As part of the planning process, the City is evaluating potential changes to the street layout, including the possible installation of sidewalks on one or both sides of the street. The Engineering staff is requesting input from residents related to sidewalks and parking.
