Work Completed the Week of September 7th

• No work occurred on Monday, September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday
• Utility work wrapped up on Phase 2 (W. 72nd, from Glouchester Avenue to Lynmar Lane) with watermain, storm sewer and sanitary sewer replacement
• Roadway removals occurred on Phase 3 (W. 72nd, from Lynmar Lane towards France Avenue)
• Utility work began on Phase 3 (W. 72nd, from Lynmar Lane towards France Avenue)
• Access on W. 72nd from Lynmar to France was closed for the foreseeable future

Work Planned for the Week of September 14th

• Roadway grading work is planned on remainder of Phase 1 (W. 72nd from Cornelia to Glouchester) and on Phase 2 (W. 72nd from Glouchester to Bristol)
• Utility work will continue on Phase 3 (W. 72nd, from Lynmar Lane towards France Avenue)
• Sanitary sewer bypassing piping will be installed for the final phase of utility work in France Avenue
• France Avenue closure will start the evening of Wednesday, September 16th. This closure is expected to be in-place for 3-weeks. Local and business access will remain open until the full closure of France Avenue between Gallagher Drive and Hazelton Road.
• Night work will occur on France Avenue on both Wednesday (9/16) and Thursday (9/17) to help expediate the duration of the France Avenue closure.

Residential Access

• As the work continues to progress the project website will be updated regularly regarding access. The project team appreciates the patience and understanding during the moving operations of construction activity

School Safety

• The project team asks that guardians are making sure to assist their student(s) with navigating through the construction area. The contractor and project team will also make any efforts to help assist as necessary to keep everyone safe and getting to where they need to go.
