The concept on 50th Street is a 3/4 access intersection at Dale Dr and the City Hall entrance with protected left turns, right in - right outs, and expanded off street pedestrian and bike facilities. It also improves the traffic signal at 50th Street and Grange Road. The benefits of this concept are;
- Reduced vehicle and pedestrian conflict points from 32 to 10.
- Safe queuing for left hand turns within dedicated medians.
- Reduced Vehicle Speeds - medians provide traffic calming by narrowing lanes.
- Reduced severity and frequency of most crash types.
- Improved pedestrian facility - wide shared use trails on both sides.

The improvement concept at the intersection of Eden Ave, Grange Rd, and Wilson Rd is 2 roundabouts. Because of the offset nature of the intersection and the proximity to driveways, 1 roundabout does not work at this location. The benefits of this concept are;
- Reduced Vehicle Speeds
- Reduced vehicle and pedestrian conflict points.
- Reduced severity and frequency of most crash types.
- Improved pedestrian facility - wide shared use trails on both sides, shorter crossing distances, median refuge island, crossing only one direction at a time.
- Typically, less delay than traffic signals or all-way-stop intersections.
