Work has started onsite preparing for Fred Richard's Park Construction. Utility work has been done to prepare for the removal of the maintenance building on site. This building is being removed for the placement of parking for the park and amenities. This parking lot location allows for access from the new entry road off 77th. This location reduces any impacts to wetlands and allows accessible parking for the new pavilion, playground, courts, and trails.

Grading and excavation equipment will be on site for September construction work. This work will include removal of golf course fill materials, dredging materials, stump grinding, and other earthwork activities that allow us to lay the foundation for restoration and park features.
