Construction continues this week on the pavilion structure. Crews completed foundation block and foundation insulation preparing for waterproofing and backfilling next week. Once foundation is fully completed above grade block and utilities for building will follow. Crews also continued work on mass grading and soil corrections on the site. Parking lot grading and retaining wall preparations also continued as weather allowed.

Upcoming work includes continued grading in SE section with movement to additional areas of the park later this fall as weather allows. Contractors will continue earthwork until soil freezes or conditions change. Stump grinding and invasive vegetation management will also be occurring this fall.

Potential disturbances in the next few weeks equipment noises and hauling. Additional equipment trail crossing and a potential temporary closure is possible later this fall. The city will update with timeline and detours when it has been scheduled.
