Each page includes the information that was submitted by the applicant/developer. There is not a public hearing process for sketch plan submittals. These submittals are not formal development applications. If a sketch plan project moves forward, an application will be made to the Planning Department and all legal notification and public hearing requirements would take place at that time.

    CLOSED: This sketch plan was presented at the City Council meeting on February 2, 2021.

    Lupe Development Partners is asking the Planning Commission and City Council to consider a sketch plan proposal to redevelop 4040 West 70th Street. The applicant would tear down the existing office building and construct a new three-four story 118 senior affordable housing project with 95 underground and 25 surface parking stalls. The density proposed is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan/Southdale District Plan which limits the density to 75 units per acre for this site.

    Sketch Plan Submittal

    This sketch plan will be reviewed by the Planning Commission at their January 13, 2021 meeting. City Council will review this sketch plan submittal on February 2, 2021.

    CLOSED: This sketch plan was presented at the City Council meeting on January 20, 2021.

    Reuter Walton is asking the Planning Commission and City Council to consider a sketch plan request to redevelop 4917 Eden Avenue, which is currently occupied by a Perkins Restaurant. The applicant would tear down the existing Perkins building and build a seven (7) story 208-unit apartment and a four (4) story 52,000 square foot office building.
