    A path was mowed through the park this week in the space that seems to be used for sledding. Mowing late in the season ensures that natives have had a chance to go to seed and senesce naturally.

    Melody Lake is looking lovely! From the shore, the water looks clear to the bottom. White water lily, common waterweed, and small pondweed are visible from the park as well - all native aquatic plants that help to limit algae growth and provide habitat for aquatic organisms.
