Road Closures

• Kemrich Drive, Lee Valley Road and Down Road will have heavy construction traffic during the installation of the base layer of asphalt, which is scheduled for Monday, 10/26. Please avoid these areas and use alternative routes if possible. See locations in the following exhibit.

Project Area

• If you have any power outages or electrical appliance issues at your home, please call Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-1999.

• Please see the construction phasing map.
• Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
• All work dates below are weather permitting.

Phases 1, 2 & 3:

• The final layer of asphalt paving is scheduled the week of 10/26 in the cul-de-sacs.
  • The remainder of the streets will be paved later in the fall.
• General Notes
  • Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction working hours
  • Check your front door daily for access notifications
  • Driveway Accessibility
    • You will generally have access in and out of your driveway each morning and evening, and potentially throughout the day. Exceptions include periodic excavations in front of your driveway that may last hours. The contractor will knock on your door notifying you of the excavation work and give you time to park your car on the street, so you aren’t blocked in
  • Tree replacements and plantings will be planted in the spring of 2027.
  • Irrigation repairs/adjustments are ongoing. If your system has been winterized before these repairs have been made, repairs will be completed in the spring of 2027.

Phase 1:

  • Lanham Lane, Kemrich Drive (east of Lanham Lane), Tara Road, Antrim Court and Antrim Terrace
    • Xcel Energy’s subcontractor Edison will be repairing any sod or landscaping that is disturbed during this work.
    • Landscape restoration
    • Sod installation on a few homes

Phase 2:

• Ongoing Work (week of 10/26)

• Dublin Circle, Dublin Road, Antrim Road, Kerry Road, Wexford Road and 70th Street

  • Sod/seed installation
• Fleetwood Drive
  • Xcel Energy’s subcontractor Edison will be repairing any sod or landscaping that is disturbed during this work.

Phase 3:

• Upcoming Work (week of 10/26)
  • Down Road, Lee Valley Road and Kemrich Drive (West of Lanham)
    • Installation of the base layer of asphalt is scheduled for Monday, 10/26.
    • Paver driveway installation
    • Landscape restoration
    • Sod installation
      • Seed adjacent to wooded areas.
    • Xcel Energy’s subcontractor Edison is onsite updating and reinstalling street lighting on Kemrich Drive.

Shannon Drive

• The Shannon Drive roadway and utility reconstruction work will not begin until spring 2027. The extended timeline is primarily due to the pace of utility work. We understand that extending construction to 2027 is frustrating and an inconvenience and sincerely appreciate the patience of residents in the project area. Crews remain on-site and are committed to completing the remaining neighborhood work as quickly as possible.
