Traffic Update

• Access to Xerxes Avenue from Heritage Drive will remain closed until Monday morning 10/21.
  1. Access to Xerxes Avenue will be via York Avenue and W 64^th Street.
  2. A map visualizing this traffic update can be found here.
• Although the first layer of asphalt is complete on the majority of Barrie Road and on Heritage Drive, no parking remains in effect. Please do not park on the street during working hours. You may get towed. This will give the contractor the proper space to do work. Thank you for your cooperation.

Barrie Road

• Sod installation is scheduled to begin the week of 10/21.
• Retaining wall installation is scheduled to begin the week of 10/21.

Heritage Drive

• Sod installation is scheduled to begin the week of 10/21.

W. 65th Street

• Xcel Energy’s relocation of their facilities is scheduled to resume the week of 10/21. Sorry for the delay.
• While the street is gravel, it is open to vehicular traffic. Please drive slowly.

Traffic Update

• During this road closure, access to Xerxes Avenue will be via York Ave and W 64th Street.

Access to Barrie Road from W 66th Street and Heritage Drive will be closed on Friday, 10/4 due to paving the first layer of asphalt on Barrie Rd. This is anticipated to begin at 7 AM.

• The daytime road closure is anticipated to one day.
• Barrie Road will be accessible from W 65th Street during this time.
• Expect short term delays driving on Barrie Road between W 66th Street and Heritage Drive.
• Delays accessing Barrie Road from properties can be up to 15 minutes due to paving.
• Please plan your trips to account for these short-term delays.
• As soon as the large rollers are done compacting the pavement, vehicles can access Barrie Road.

• Access to Barrie Road from W 66^th Street and Heritage Drive will be closed during asphalt paving. The daytime closure is anticipated to one day. Barrie Road will be accessible from W 65^th Street during this time.

• The first layer of asphalt paving is scheduled to begin late during the week of 9/30 or during the week of 10/7 following driveway apron installation.
  • Delays accessing Barrie Road from properties can be up to 15 minutes due to paving.
  • As soon as the large rollers are done compacting the pavement, vehicles can access Barrie Road.

Heritage Drive
